I made it! 40 days, 40 posts, until I turn 40! And I’m 40! What an over the top, wonderful, happy day. And I owe all of that to all of you. It was a day filled will love and blessings – every direction I turned.
I ate, I shopped. I ate some more. I shopped some more. Then I ate again. And then…you guessed it, I shopped. I mean really, who could ask for a better combination. And yes. The day included cupcakes.
That there is a Root Beer Float cupcake. And in the background? A dozen Dreamsicle cupcakes for my party tomorrow. Yay! What a GREAT birthday!
As I’ve been writing these forty posts, several of you have told me you couldn’t wait for the last post and wondered what I might write. I’ve got to tell you, I’ve been putting a lot of pressure on myself to come up with the most fantastic (or as Noah would say – Epic) post yet. But here’s the problem – I’m not full of funny stories or anything particularly deep and reflective today. But what I am full of is an intense, overwhelming feeling of love and gratitude. Something everyone in this world should be able to experience.
And that is what I want to share with all of you tonight. Love and gratitude. I want to tell all of you how much I appreciate each of you for what you add to my life. I want to tell all of you how much I feel the love you sent my way today. I want to tell each of you how blessed I am to have you in my life – even if it has only been for sheer moments at a time.
Moments do make a difference. And I thank you for them.
As I sign off into dream land, know this – my life is incredibly more enriched with each of you in it. I thank you and I hope that I can return the favor to each of you.
