Day 30 of National Blog Posting Month (NABloPoMo). You know what that means, right? I’m DONE! Finished! Finito! For now anyway.
This is a big deal to me. Because writing and publishing work, every day, for 30 days straight is hard work. Which you’ve already heard me whining about in previous posts. The big deal though, is not just that it was hard, but that it was stretch goal I set for myself, and I completed it! It wasn’t always pretty, my posts weren’t always the quality I’d prefer, but. I. did. it.
Originally, I was going to try and write some really amazing ‘end of NaBloPoMo’ post. But really? I’m just too darn tired. And it’s a good lesson on easing up on myself and knowing that writing this post, albeit not an emotional, deep post, is still okay. It still counts. So whatever. I’m a little disappointed in myself, but that’s my perfectionism getting in my own way.
The point is…I finished it! I posted every single day in November. And that is something to be proud of.
Also, I found this gem on the interwebs today, which really tells the full story why I write. And why I committed to writing every day for the month of November.
Because writing heals.
It make me whole.
And I’m so thankful for this gift.
So for now, I’m signing off. Not forever, not even for a week. But probably for at least a couple of days. Because reflection on this experience will help me move forward in stringing more words together in the future. You can be sure I’ll have another story to tell soon.
Thank you for sticking around this month, even when my posts weren’t the quality I’d normally approve of. Thank you for supporting me and my goal. Thank you, for listening.
Love and Blessings to you…
