Some of you may never have heard of Wordless Wednesday. So in the interest of enlightening you, let me bring you up to speed. Bueno?
Wordless Wednesday is when Bloggers post a photo on their blog, on a Wednesday. Traditionally, you post a photo without any text or explanation, in the theory that the photo itself says it all. Yet, I’ve also seen Bloggers post a photo with perhaps a brief explanation about the photo or their inspiration for posting the specific photo. I mostly fall into this latter category, because…well, because I have a big mouth and I like to talk, and so posting a photo with no explanation or text whatsoever is just too damn hard. In fact, it is so hard, that today’s photo not only has all of this blah, blah, blahing…but it is also a photo, with text placed on top of it. BAM! DOUBLE WHAMMY! Take that rule makers.
I’m such a rebel.
Anyhoo…today, for Wordless Wednesday I am sharing a photo that honors the theme for this month’s NaBloPoMo – Healing. One of my favorite quotes.
About the Photo:
I took this photo today while sitting in my parked car. No fancy camera, just my iPhone. I took the picture of the rain drops resting on my side window. Later, I opened the photo in the app, RD Magic, where I added layers of Bokeh, Edges and Texture. Then I opened the app in Rhonna Designs and added the text. From there, I shared the completed photo on Instagram.
Perhaps this should become a new thing, huh? Where I not only share a photo on Wordless Wednesday, but I also explain in more detail the editing functions and apps I used? I’m no expert, but I love to play around with different apps and try new things.
Let me know if you’d like to see more of this in the future!
