Storyline. A conference in which you explore the discovery of and answer to the question, ‘Do I matter?‘
The answer is simple. Yes. You matter. I matter.
The idea that only a few of us in the world can matter is false. We all have a place, a story, a voice. And we must own it, share it, use it.
Not unlike many attendees of this conference, I signed up for it, not entirely sure what I would get out of it or why I was coming. But I did know I felt compelled and drawn to be here. As did everyone else sitting in the chairs around me. Bottom line is we are all filled with a desire to design, write and live a better story. One that matters. One that will be told, with love and smiles, after we are gone.
And so here I am. Taking pages upon pages of notes. Crying at stories shared by speakers. Stories in which they designed a life that matters to them. Stores of triumph, overcoming, greatness, love, light, and hope. Isn’t that what we all want?
I am at the close of day one. Exhausted from drinking from the theoretical fire hydrant of knowledge. Wishing I had the energy to dig deeper and write more for you this evening. But this girl needs some quiet reflection time to take it all in…
…and begin designing the story of the rest of her life.
